【香港】Windows 8後續小事紀

在最近的 Microsoft BUILD 大會中，Windows 8的聲勢甚大，憑著 PC/Tablet 通殺的優勢，不少人都對它寄予厚望，可能有些人也早就下載 Preview 版本玩過一輪了，這次集合幾項關於 Windows 8 的小消息讓大家快速瀏覽一下：

一、Windows 8 ARM 版不能執行 x86 軟件

相信有不少人對 Windows8 寄予厚望，不過 Microsoft 仍再次提醒大家，Windows 8 雖然同時會有PC 和 Tablet 版本，但在 ARM 裝置上的 Windows 8 是不能運行x86平台的軟件的。

雖然在 BUILD 大會上，他們聲稱用戶在 ARM 或 x86 平台上，都能同樣有像在家一樣的感覺，但實際上跨平台的軟體運作依然是不可能的。所以，在使用 ARM 平台的 Tablet 上，即使有 Windows 8，也不能執行舊的 Windows 軟體，或為 x86 Windows 8 開發的軟體，只能執行為 ARM Windows 8 而開發的軟體。其實在技術上是許可的，但真的支援後，會帶來很多不同的問題，例如在耗電量上未必能承受之類。

二、Windows 8 平板 vs iPad 2 with iOS 5 正面對決！

之前微軟正式推出 Windows 8 的第一個 Preview 版，Microsoft 聲稱這個全新作業系統，可以完美應用於平板電腦上，但相較於目前的熱門產品 iPad 2 又如何呢？有外國網站就拿來了 Windows 8 的平板電腦，與已安裝了 iOS 5 的 iPad 2 比對使用流暢度及使用介面的分別。當然，用一台已經推出半年的平板電腦，來和一年後才會推出的機款來比較，似乎有點不太公平，所以大家還是參考一下就好了（待真正內建 Windows 8 的平板電腦推出時，再來和那時採用其他作業系統的平板電腦進行比較，參考價值應該會更高吧）。
 

三、Windows 8 未見新功能還有 300+？！

這個將會於明年推出的新作業系統，估計還有超過 300 個新功能在大會中沒有展示出來，有外國網站就將這些新功能集結超來，就讓我們來看看 Windows 8 將來還有甚麼「隱藏」了的新功能吧！
