和去年一樣，Samsung 今年也有加強版旗艦 – Galaxy S5 Active 今天正式公佈。

Active 版本的規格和原版 Galaxy S5 一樣，配備 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 處理器、5.1 吋 1080p Super AMOLED 螢幕、1,600 萬像相機等。也一樣有心跳感應器，在後置相機鏡頭下。

不同的地方全部在機殼，首先是更強的防震、防水、防塵。旁邊加入一個「方便按鈕」，可以隨時啟動運動應用程式。今年 GS5 Active 比去年 GS4 Active 機身薄了很多，沒有那麼巨型。不過今年 GS5 原版已經能夠防水防塵，雖然效果當然不及 Active 版，但 Active 版的吸引特點已經大大降低。
