  影像感測器的大小一般而言，不管CCD或CMOS的影像感測器大小和傳統35mm軟片比起來是小很多的，則也造成了數位相機成像時的雜訊(noise)，而且也說明了數位相機上的鏡頭一般都具備很短的焦距，因為焦距短，成像必定較小。
